About the concert
Louisiana Avenue is back at Fasching with a party you'll want to be at. In honour of one of the world's biggest carnivals, arguably Sweden's best live band throws a Mardi Gras Party where anything can happen. This year they arrive with a piping-hot new EP in tow.
The band draws on New Orleans' simmering pot of music, with soul, jazz, funk, blues and Latin rhythms all in the mix. The carnival spirit doesn't stop at the brightly coloured stage outfits: expect inflatable unicorns, a parade through the crowd, Mardi Gras beads, parasols and a string of flamboyant costume changes. The result is a party everyone is welcome at.
Behind the joyful, all-out performances sits a love philosophy that is meant in earnest, with the inclusion of EVERYONE as a given. Whatever your age, background or physical circumstances, you're warmly welcome into the world of Louisiana Avenue. Everybody's in!
