Räfvens Julfest

Räfven formed in Gothenburg in 2003 and have built their reputation on stage rather than in the studio ever since – a collective that plays folk music like it's punk, at a tempo that rarely drops below full speed.

Since 2015 (with one pandemic-shaped gap), Räfven have brought their Christmas gospel to Fasching during the darkest days of December. It's one of the most anticipated nights on the December calendar – and the sweatiest, happiest, most inclusive dance floor of the season.

Räfven's music borrows freely across borders – between countries, between genres, between what counts as a folk troupe and what counts as a rock band – and their unrestrained live shows have won them an audience well beyond Sweden. At the Christmas party, that mix is at its most unpredictable: anything can happen, except sitting still. Bring the whole pack!
