Psychedelic soul with warm grooves, dreamy synths and a clear pull toward the softest corners of the shimmering, psychedelic seventies. Theodor came together after a road trip to Italy, where the band members listened to tapes of contemporary soul and tried to capture the same laid-back feel.

Their debut THEODOR arrived in 2023, followed by HOLOCENE, where the band brought their love of sixties jazz and seventies soul into the present. Soulful drums and melodic bass lines sit behind two distinctive voices singing about the cosmos and friends who have passed. The music lands somewhere between the silky synths of AIR, the offbeat charm of early Mac DeMarco and driving seventies grooves.

Now Theodor are back with BLUE HEIGHTS, a third album that takes the music in more cinematic and dreamlike directions. The record is released as the tour begins, so the Fasching show will be one of the first chances to hear the new songs live.
